First Amendment Rights

-Give a speech before a large gathering of people and express opinions about the president's abilities.

-Circulate a petition calling for the repeal of an unpopular law.

-Post your opinion on your blog about an issue being discussed at a local school board meeting

The 3 statements above are protected by the First Amendment. The first one you have the freedom of speech and you can gather people to talk about things that you think are wrong but you can not force them to come or to listen to what you want to say. The second statement you are aloud to circulate a petition if you want a repeal on a law. The last statement about posting opinions on your blog is also protected because you do have the freedom of speech and as long as what you are posting is true then it is fine.
